Privacy Policy

1. Who I am
Partners Studio is run by me, Nikita Ahapov, a Shopify developer based in Ukraine. I decide how personal data on this site is used, so I am the controller under the EU and UK GDPR. You can reach me at nikita@partnersstudio.co.
2. What I collect, why, and on what legal basis
- Booking a call. If you book through Calendly, I receive your name, email address, the time you pick and anything you write in the booking form. I use them to hold the call and follow up. Legal basis: steps you ask me to take before a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Email. If you email me, I receive your address and your message. I use them to reply and, if you hire me, to run the project. Legal basis: steps before a contract, or the contract itself (Article 6(1)(b)).
- Client work. While I work for you, I hold what you share with me, such as your store URL, staff contacts and project files. Legal basis: my contract with you (Article 6(1)(b)).
- Invoices. I keep invoices and payment records because tax law requires it. Legal basis: legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).
- Analytics, only if you allow it. Google Analytics 4 records the pages you visit, how long you stay, where you came from, your device and browser, and your approximate location worked out from your IP address. Microsoft Clarity also records your clicks, scrolling and mouse movement as a replay of each visit. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)). If you decline, neither loads.
- Running the site. Cloudflare hosts the site and handles your IP address and request details to deliver pages and block attacks. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits without cookies and without identifying you. Legal basis: my legitimate interest in a working, secure site (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Client portal. If you are a client and sign in, I set one cookie that keeps you signed in. Legal basis: my contract with you (Article 6(1)(b)).
You do not have to give me any personal data, but without an email address I cannot reply. I do not sell your data, I do not use it for advertising, and I do not make decisions about you by automated means.

You can change your analytics choice at any time with "Privacy choices" at the foot of every page. If you withdraw, I delete the Google Analytics and Clarity cookies on this site straight away. Microsoft's own cookies sit on Microsoft's domains, so you can only clear those in your browser settings.
4. Who receives your data
- Google (Google Analytics 4), only with your consent.
- Microsoft (Clarity), only with your consent.
- Calendly, once you open the booking calendar, and the services Calendly uses inside it, such as Stripe for fraud checks and Google reCAPTCHA for spam checks.
- Cloudflare, which hosts the site.
- Sanity, which stores the text and images of this site. Your browser loads images from cdn.sanity.io, which sees your IP address.
- Zoho, which hosts my email in its EU data centre.
- My bank and payment provider, if you pay me.
- Specialists I bring in for a project, who see only what that project needs.
Links to the Shopify App Store, YouTube and LinkedIn are plain links. Those sites receive nothing until you click, and then their own privacy policies apply.
5. International transfers
I am based in Ukraine, outside the EU and the UK. Several of the services above are run from the United States. Where a provider is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension, I rely on that certification. Otherwise I rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses in the provider's data processing terms, with the UK Addendum for UK data. Ask me and I will send you a copy of the safeguards that apply.
6. How long I keep it
- Google Analytics: up to 14 months.
- Clarity: replays for 30 days, other Clarity data for 9 months.
- Calendly bookings: 12 months after the call, unless you hire me.
- Emails: 3 years after you last contacted me, unless you hire me.
- Client projects: for the project and 3 years after it ends, for warranty questions and follow up work.
- Invoices: as long as tax law requires.
- Portal cookie: 30 days. Your analytics choice: until you clear your browser storage.
7. Your rights
You can ask me for a copy of your data, and ask me to correct it, delete it, restrict how I use it, or send it to you in a portable format. You can object to any use based on my legitimate interests. Where I rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time with "Privacy choices" at the foot of every page or by email. This does not affect anything that happened before you withdrew.
Email nikita@partnersstudio.co and I will reply within one month. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live or work. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). You can find the authority for each EU country at edpb.europa.eu. I would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
8. Children
The site and my services are for businesses and are not aimed at anyone under 18. If you think I hold data about a child, tell me and I will delete it.
9. Changes
When I change this policy, I update the date at the top.
